It sounds like they had some issues with groupon, but what company hasn't that's done deals with them. Its all over the news. Anyway I have been going to their warehouse for years to get their products. Their stuff is always the freshest and best quality and I know, i've eating it for years and am still a very loyal customer.

My order, and my money were somewhere in the ether. I cannot say enough about a company that provides this level of customer service. We've always been very pleased with their service, and the quality of their products. Today, three people at their warehouse spent a fair bit of time finding bags of extra large cashews and dried sweet cherries for me.
I'll definitely buy from them again. They saved our Christmas candy making by going the extra mile. I received my order at my door just 5 days after placing it. I will definitely be doing business with them again! I placed and paid for an order over the internet for a gift to be shipped. The status of the order did not update over the next week.
My emails and voicemail to Nutty Guts over the subsequent week were ignored. I visited the warehouse in person and demanded immediate shipment or a refund. They provided no explanation as to why it had not shipped, no apology, but they said the order would ship that day and I would have a tracking number in my email before I got home — none received.
I called several times the next day until a human finally answered. I was told the order should have shipped the day before but didn't and they couldn't provide an explanation as to why.
They said they would ship it out that day. After I ranted, they said they would send me tracking within 20 minutes and I got a meager apology. So, 15 days after I placed my order, it finally shipped.
You're better off not doing business with Nutty Guys. I thought, oh well, I'll give it a try. I received an email stating my order had shipped on Dec 11, I placed my order on Dec 6 and the company website stated orders are usually shipped within days, that obviously didn't happen!
Not a big deal I thought, they must be busy. I checked the status of my shipment after receiving the email stating my order had shipped only to find there was no tracking for my order because it did not ship. I made several attempts to contact customer service, the phone always went straight to voicemail, I left a message, sent an email, and was finally contacted a week later. They were apologetic and promised to get my order to me as soon as possible. I received my order nearly three weeks after placing it only to discover one of the items I received was not the item I ordered.
So, again I am trying to contact customer service, but keep getting voicemail. I left a message and sent an email two days ago and I am still waiting to hear from the Nutty Guys.
Additionally, I am not impressed with the quality of the nuts I did receive, I can buy better quality nuts from the bulk foods section of my local grocery store, and for about the same price when shipping is factored in, but with a lot less hassel and frustrating customer service problems.
I placed my orders on Dec. I had to give IOU's as gifts, how embarrassing! I called and emailed customer service multiple times to inquire about my orders, and got absolutely NO response.
Nobody answered the phone, nobody answered my emails. When my packaged did finally arrive, the stenciling on the side of the gift crate was so smeared, you couldn't even read the Nutty Guys logo that was supposed to be there. Not to mention the crate was significantly smaller than expected. It gave me a toll-free number to call. I immediately got a live person who helped me input the info correctly in a very short time, and all was well. My order went through with no problems.
I was worried from some of the other reviews about receiving helpful service, but it was great! I ordered through Nutty Guys using a Groupon voucher as part of a Christmas present. I placed the order on Dec. On Dec. It hadn't even shipped. So, I requested the order be shipped directly to the recipient and was told it was. I just checked the tracking info, and it is being shipped to MY house!!
So, now I'll have nuts sitting on my porch for two weeks, and need to go out Christmas shopping!!! Even if you are using a Groupon, it is not worth the savings!! I have called numerous times during business hours and no response. You are taking a chance ordering from this company.
Don't purchase Groupon Certificicates — This place customer service is awful. They are rude and when you call the number on the Group On certificate they give you , the person at this number cares less about you. She is very rude. In addition, there is no shipping guarantee. You will get your product when they mail it out. First, I had to wait about four days before I was able to use the certificate, when the website said I could use it within a couple of hours.
Secondly, it has been 10 additional days and I am still waiting on my product to be shipped. The whole reason for me buying the damn certificate was to send it as a gift before Christmas. Group On should ban them from their website.
Word of advice, if you go on marketing blitz and sell your product through Group On, please be prepared for the influx of orders. Have people on the other end of the phone trained with excellent customer service to represent your company.
It is the company's responsibility to get the product to the customer within a reasonable time or inform us of the delay! I would give 0 starts if I could. First of all, the product was so underwhelming. DO NOT believe the pictures you see on the website. I unfortunately bought this as a gift for someone, and I was embarrassed to do so. Second, the customer service was truly atrocious. To make a long story short, I had to call more than 6 times to straighten out the order which shipped late and the charges which were wrongfully placed that showed up on my card.
The manager was rude and insulted me for taking up 10 minutes of his time. He did not give me a refund of any sort. I would be shocked if this place ever got repeat customers. Save yourself the trouble and just stay away in the first place. Really disappointed — Just received a gift pack from a friend from the nutty guys. The chocolate covered nuts had at some point in the past melted. The chocolate had that discolored white film and were stuck together, the sunflower seeds were so overdone they stuck to the shell and couldn't even be pried out, the cashews were ok, but the quality was no better than the greocery store.
No card was enclosed to tell me who sent the gift. If I had ordered these for myself, I would be demanding my money back. Would never use these guys for a gift. Great Fruit and Nuts! They have the perfect amount of heat and crunch. I have tried several of the granolas and the the french vanilla is my favorite.
It is sweet , but goes very well with yogurt. Poor quality — I read many great reviews about the Nutty Guys products and was very excited to place my order. Once I received my order, I was very disappointed with the freshness of my organic almonds. I also ordered pine nuts and dried plums which was okay but in comparison to all the great reviews I expected better than your grocery store quality. Honesty matters in business. I will not do business with them again.
Best Almond Butter ever! I live in Austin, TX where there are lots of almonds and various forms of almond butter.
But nothing comes close to the texture, flavor and exquisite taste of the almond butter that I bought last fall when I was in Salt Lake City.
