We had a cabin for a few of the nights, as we weren't exactly camping in the 'middle of nowhere'. We had to pay for the accommodations, and it was well worth it in my opinion.

However, this thread is not about cabins. My friends and I got bored tried the new 'fad' that is ever so popular among high-school and college students. This 'fad' is called Star Tripping. You still have your senses, you just feel very, very trippy.

Now, Star Tripping is very tricky. It's best to do it in an open field in the dead of night. If there is any light at all aside from the stars and the moon , it will not work. You also should have at least 3 people involved, and make sure there is nothing nearby that could be a potential hazard.

First thing is first - you and the others involved must form a circle. The reason for this, is so that the person doing the 'tripping' does not fall and hit something - severely injuring the person, or worse.

Now, one person should stand in the center of the circle. This person will then pick a star out of sky, and spin around in circles while staring at the star. The person should do this until dizzy. The next part is important. Make sure you have an LED light on hand - preferably one that you can shine off and on very quickly. Once the person is dizzy, shine the light directly in their eyes. The combination of the spinning, the stars, and the sudden light will make the person be hit with a feeling of being high and drunk at the same time.

The person will then wipe out, and grope on the ground for a while.
