Stephanie, afraid of heights, pretends to have great circus skills so the LazyTown kids decide to put on their very own circus. Robbie arrives, disguised as a ringmaster, and uses the circus as a way to get rid of Sportacus.
When Robbie tries to shoot Sportacus out of a cannon, Stephanie swallows her fear and saves the day. Robbie poses as a teacher at the LazyTown school so he can stop the kids from learning new things. His lessons turn the school upside down until he finally traps Sportacus in a hole in the ground. Stephanie and the LazyTown kids use what they've learned in school to free Sportacus and then to help Sportacus rescue Robbie from a science experiment gone wrong.
Robbie, watching TV in his lair is disgusted by all the healthy and happy programming. He resolves to get his own lazy programs on the air at any price. Racing from set to set Robbie tries to disrupt each program but fails. Finally, he climbs on to Pixel's roof to disable the satellite dish but strands himself. Stephanie creates a cool Play Park for her friends, but they're lured away by Robbie's candies and a thrill ride.
When things go berserk, Stephanie hears her friend's cries of help and she realizes that even though they abandoned her, they're still her friends. She arrives to help save them, and Sportacus uses one of Stephanie's moves to save everyone. Sportacus shows the kids how to use an Energy Book to keep track of how much sports candy they eat and how much exercise they get. Robbie hears about this book and decides to try to wreck the kids plans to put healthy stickers in them - by luring them into bad behaviors and giving them stickers for candy instead.
The kids realize their mistake when they start losing points for bad behavior, so they quickly correct the situation by doing healthy things and filling up their books with good stickers. When the LazyTown kids argue, Robbie gets the idea to turn their argument into a huge conflict that will separate one group from another. The LazyTown kids find a way to work together despite the wall - and Sportacus is able to wake up and save the day. But Robbie's wishes - all designed to make LazyTown lazy again, backfire. And Robbie's genie turns out to be more of a problem for him than a help! Pixel invents a device that will allow the kids to actually go "into" their favorite fairy tales. But Robbie, angry that the villains always lose in those stories, also jumps into the stories and starts terrorizing the kids.
He and the kids must be saved by Sportacus when the fairy tale world starts fading away. Robbie decides to enter the LazyTown car race to prove that he's the fastest one in town. He also sabotages the kids cars, but they pool all of their remaining car parts into one great car and the race begins.
Robbie uses a turbo engine to cheat but his car goes out of control and he must be saved by Sportacus. Stephanie and Ziggy decide to open a dance school in LazyTown. When Robbie learns of this he disguises himself as the head of famous dance school and invites Stephanie to join him far, far, away.
Stephanie leaves in a plane piloted by the Mayor. Back in LazyTown, Robbie traps Sportacus in a trunk tied to helium balloons and sends it floating away. Robbie, however, gets stuck on the trunk too.
It's up to Stephanie and her uncle to save Sportacus and Robbie in a daring aerial rescue. Robbie invents a machine that pulls toys away from kids. He sends two of the devices to Paris and China, so that Sportacus will have to leave LazyTown to help the kids in those countries. Meanwhile, Robbie takes away all of the toys in LazyTown. Sportacus returns and says he's sorry he was too late to help, but Ziggy points out what Sportacus had taught him earlier - you don't need toys to play!
Robbie's plans are foiled once again! Robbie Rotten is tired of Sportacus always saving everyone. When he finds a rule in the LazyTown Rule Book that allows only one Superhero in town, he hatches a plan to drive Sportacus away by introducing a faster, stronger Superhero robot. After Sportacus loses a challenge, he has no choice but to obey the rules and leave LazyTown. But Roboticus reveals his true rotten nature, and the LazyTown Kids must challenge him to a race to win Sportacus back.
When the robot is caught cheating, the Kids enlist Sportacus' help. Will they win the race and send the rotten robot out of LazyTown? Stingy makes all kinds of excuses not to attend because he doesn't want to bring a gift. Ziggy, however, declares it the best gift he ever received, as he proceeds to turn the empty box into anything he wants it to be.
Ziggy's enthusiasm teaches Stingy that the gift of imagination is the greatest gift of all! The LazyTown Kids are planning a big surprise for Sportacus. When Robbie Rotten overhears their plans, he uses the opportunity to finally get rid of Sportacus.
